Developed for, but not restricted to, high moisture area applications. Woodlore Plus Waterproof frames, rails, stiles and Louvres are all made entirely from ABS. Being a waterproof product it is ideal for high moisture and wet area applications as moisture coming in contact with this material does not cause damage.

The Louvres made with high grade recyclable ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) built with aircraft inspired construction for maximum strength and stiffness and the use of Stainless-Steel hardware for the application in these areas will provide the best protection against rust or corrosion.

Woodlore Plus Waterproof is available in a range of 22 standard paint colours. ABS is a very hardwearing material, making it most durable and longer lasting.

As this is a type of plastic and is not susceptible to any movement as timber can be, warping is not an issue. In addition, the timber core used within the louvres of the panel is laminated, giving it greater strength and resistance to movement.

The advantage of ABS is that this material combines the strength and rigidity of the acrylonitrile and styrene polymers with the toughness of the polybutadiene rubber. ABS is considered superior for its hardness, gloss, toughness, and electrical insulation properties.
